How Oil Absorbent Socks Are Used

Socks are placed around the perimeter of a spill to create a containment barrier or positioned directly around leaking machinery and storage containers to capture ongoing drips. Multiple socks can be connected or overlapped to enclose larger areas. Once fully saturated, the socks should be removed and disposed of in accordance with local environmental and waste management regulations.
