How Maintenance Absorbent Socks Are Used

Socks are positioned around the perimeter of a spill to form a containment barrier or placed around leaking equipment and storage containers to capture ongoing drips. Multiple socks can be connected or overlapped to enclose larger spill areas. Once fully saturated, the socks should be removed and disposed of in accordance with local environmental and waste management regulations.
