How Chemical Land Booms Are Used

Land booms are placed around the perimeter of a chemical spill or positioned along walkways, drains, or leaking containers to contain and absorb hazardous liquids. Multiple booms can be connected or overlapped to create longer barriers and protect larger areas or sensitive drainage systems.

Once saturated, the booms must be removed and disposed of in accordance with local environmental and hazardous waste regulations.
